Polyester Pigment pastes, Glass Fibre reinforcements and other ancillaries (Catalyst, Accelerator Cobalt (2%/6%/12%), CS Mat 300 & 450(Imported), CS Mat 300 & 450 (Vetrotext), Binani) to polyester resins are being marketed through our sister concern, SR Marketing Agency

The company was established in 1992 by our honorable Founder late Mr. S.R. Ashok Kumar. SR Resins and Chemicals Industries was founded through the vision and leadership of Mr. Ashok Kumar, a rare individual who combined deep technical expertise with strategic business insight. With a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and an MBA in Marketing, he brought a unique perspective to the world of specialty chemicals—one that prioritized both product innovation and customer trust.
Driven by his passion for polymers and a belief in the potential of Indian manufacturing, he laid the foundation of our company with a clear mission:
To deliver high-performance polyester resins backed by science, consistency, and customer focus.
His leadership shaped every part of our journey—from setting up our initial manufacturing infrastructure to developing a product line that meets the evolving needs of industries such as composites, construction, marine, coatings, and electrical applications.
He was not only a founder but a mentor, problem solver, and relationship builder. His strong grounding in chemistry ensured technical excellence, while his marketing acumen helped us understand our customers deeply and serve them better.
Though he is no longer with us, his principles continue to guide every decision we make.

Vasuhi Ashokkumar leads SR Resins as Managing Partner, carrying forward the legacy of the company’s late founder, Mr.S.R. Ashok Kumar. With a strong foundation in Mathematics and an MBA in Industrial Management, Mrs Ashokkumar combined analytical expertise with strategic business acumen to establish a company recognized for its excellence in polyester resin manufacturing.
Under her leadership, SR Resins upholds the values and vision laid down by her husband, ensuring that the company continues to deliver high-quality, reliable polyester resin products to a diverse range of industries.

Mr. S.R.Anand Kumar
Managing Partner
Mr. S.R.Anand Kumar, the Managing Partner of SR Resins and Chemicals Industries, has been instrumental in steering the company forward after the passing of our visionary founder, his late brother. With a robust academic foundation and decades of international experience, Mr. Anand Kumar brings a strategic perspective to the company’s operations, ensuring continued growth and innovation in the field of polyester resin manufacturing.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed institution in the United States. Though based in the USA, Mr. Anandkumar remains deeply connected to the company’s core activities and oversees its strategic direction with dedication and foresight.
Under his leadership, SR Resins continues to uphold the founding principles of quality, reliability, and customer-centric innovation, while exploring new technologies. His commitment to excellence and his ability to bridge international best practices with local expertise have helped maintain the company’s reputation as a trusted name in the industry.
He believes in building strong, sustainable relationships with clients and partners, and his guidance has ensured that SR Resins remains a forward-looking enterprise with a legacy of trust and performance.
Thakshiny Ashokkumar
Managing Partner
Thakshiny Ashokkumar, the Managing Partner of SR Resins, represents the next generation of leadership, carrying forward the legacy of her late father—the esteemed founder of the company. Since stepping into the business in 2022, she has brought fresh perspective, technical expertise, and a global outlook to the operations of the company.
She holds a B.Tech in Industrial Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from a reputed university in the United States. Prior to joining SR Resins, Thakshiny gained valuable industry experience in the U.S., working as an Industrial Engineer with a focus on Industrial cost analysis and process optimization. Her career also includes impactful work as a Business Consultant, where she specialized in supply chain management for international clients across various sectors.
With her strong analytical background and hands-on industry knowledge, Thakshiny is deeply involved in streamlining operations, enhancing product quality, and expanding the company’s market reach. She brings a modern, data-driven approach to the traditional values upon which the company was built—integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Her leadership marks a new chapter for the company—one rooted in strong technical knowledge, strategic vision, and a commitment to honoring her father’s enduring legacy.

S.R.Girija, the Managing Partner of SR Resins, has been the unwavering pillar of strength behind the company since its inception. As the mother of the late founder, she has been a constant source of support, wisdom, and resilience—both to her family and to the business he passionately built.
Following the untimely passing of the founder, Mrs. Girija stepped into a leadership role, not just as a custodian of his vision, but as a guiding presence for the next generation. Her deep personal commitment to the company’s values and legacy ensures that the founder’s mission continues to thrive with the same dedication and integrity.
While she may not come from a technical background, Mrs. Girija's role is deeply influential. She oversees key decisions with empathy and insight, offering perspective grounded in decades of life experience, family values, and an unwavering belief in the company’s purpose. Her leadership is rooted in trust, stewardship, and a deep sense of responsibility to employees.
